We took advantage of the beautiful, sunny, warm (finally in the 60's) weather and went on a homeschool "field trip" to the Alaska Zoo. It's a small place but the kids and I enjoyed it. Addison and Colton held their nose through most of the place though, complaining about how stinky it was.

Sometimes the small zoos are the best, especailly for the little kids. THe one in Sacramento isn't huge, but it's big enough for the kids and not so big that they get grumpy. Looks like you had a fun day.
I was wondering what kind of animals are in the Alaska zoo? I love the picture of the kids and there antlers very cute. Enjoy the warm weather.
